Command prompt is an inbuilt utility in Microsoft windows, similar to terminal in Linux. Command prompt contain a lot of usefulness in it, it gives us ease to do some tasks in windows if we are aware of the related commands. In Windows you can either open command prompt window by opening cmd.exe or by Windows Key + R. If you are using the former then you can directly type your command in it, if you want to pass commands in the command prompt window itself then write cmd in the small window which appears after pressing Windows Key + R.
